I'm using public computers to access NIKHEF Webmail,
how can I make sure that my password cannot be stolen?
Make sure the browser does not store passwords on disk (remember passwords).
If you are using Internet Explorer:
Tools->Internet Options->Content->Autocomplete
- Uncheck Forms
- Uncheck User names and passwords on forms
- If the computer had already stored your password, you can remove it by doing this (IE):
Tools->Internet Options->Content->Autocomplete->Clear Passwords - You should also say No when asked by the browser if you want it to remember your password or to turn on the auto-complete feature.
