Email Client Migration to Mozilla Thunderbird
| Start Thunderbird and import all settings from your old email client. |  |
| After the import has finished, enter your unix password. |   |
| Go to tools -> account settings |  |
| Check if all settings are correct and switch SSL on. |  |
| Go to advanced and enter mail in the imap server directory field. |  |
| If necessary, change the reply behaviour. |  |
| Deselect smtp server user name and password |  |
| Accept the certificate permanently |  |
| Check if all imap folders are visible via subscribe |  |
| Go to tools -> message filters and add mail filters if necessary. |   |
| Go to tools -> options |  |
| compostion -> edit directories |   |
| Fill in the ldap information |  |
| Go to send option and change to plain text |  |
| If necessary use inline attachment. |
