Welcome to the site for the 17th annual Dutch Belgium German summerschool for graduate students in particle physics! The 2005 edition will be held on the biggest 'Waddeneiland' of the Netherlands, Texel.

Aim of the School
The school is intended primarily for experimental high energy physicists preparing a PhD in particle physics, in particular during their first two years. The lectures cover both theoretical and experimental aspects of the field. This year the focus for the theoretical part will be on the Electro-Weak Standard Model of elementary particle physics
. On the experimental side the focus will be on tracking detectors used in High Energy Physics experiments.
Venue
The 2005 edition of the Dutch Belgium German summer school is hosted by the faculty of High Energy Physics of the University of Amsterdam. This faculty is embedded in the NIKHEF, the dutch national organization of High Energy Physics, in Amsterdam.
