(Astro)particle physics is a highly dynamic and awe-inspiring subject. The dimensions, timescales and numbers are either extremely large or incredibly small. The Large Hadron Collider has scarcely been commissioned and yet its successor is already being designed. Particle physics and astronomy can look forward to a fruitful partnership!
We certainly do not want the press and the public to miss those exciting moments. You can find all of our press releases in the archive and the latest news in the right column of this website. Material such as photos and animations are also available.
Photos that accompany most recent press releases can be obtained with the correct copyright statement under the button Downloads. We would appreciate you sending us a copy of any article published about our work.
If you would like to be automatically informed of our news and special activities for the media in our research discipline then please send your contact details (including employer) to us. You can also request a press folder. Keep in mind that press releases are usually in Dutch!
Our news archive can also be found on these pages. It contains the press releases, news items and alerts about PhD theses arranged per year. The archive for press releases and news items from before 2008 can be found here. All in Dutch only!
