Employee recruitment and complaints
If a new employee starts work, or if a staff member has symptoms that may indicate RSI then the line-management will want to conduct an assessment of the workplace. The employee can then contact the Health and Safety Dept (SVM) to do an assessment.
Assessment of the workplace
This means setting up the workplace ergonomically. Ergonomic aids may be put in place, such as a monitor stand a book stand and/or a laptop holder with a separate keyboard and/or mouse.
Report
The SVM staff member makes a report and sends this to the head of the PZ dept. The head of PZ will then send the report on to the employee involved.
