RF Box

The box is made by the method of "Foil hot pressure forming". Research concerning the optimal temperature during forming has been done at Groningen University. A study of the effect of welding of the foil was made for the innerside and outerside vs. neutral, moreover a microanalysis of the welding process has been performed.
The effect of  NEG coating on the RF Box has been measured in 2005.

Milling

An effort to create a foil by milling instead of by deformation is pursued. Here some pictures of the first result:
