General
information on readability:
Avoid
the use of character sizes below 20pt; avoid use of light colors (e.g.
light green) on a light background. Same for dark colors on a dark background.
Generally spoken: for beamer presentations a dark background color comes
out best and for overhead presentations a light (white) background comes
out best.

Conference
rooms
The
workshop has five conference rooms at its disposal:
- Z011:
the largest room can seat about 180 persons
- Z009: large room adjacent
to Z011 can seat about 70 persons
- H331:
the NIKHEF seminar room; can seat about 60 persons
- F320:
the astronomy department's seminar room; can seat about 70 persons
- F013:
the informatics department's seminar room; can seat about 70 persons
For the
plenary sessions in Z011 video transmission to the adjacent room Z009 will be
available, if required.
In addition a few small
discussions rooms will be available for specific committee meetings:
- H135: seats about 10
people
- H220: seats about 20
people
- H320: seats about 20
people
- N041: seats about 15
people
- N222: seats about 10
people
- N322:
seats about 10 people
- N328: seats about 25
people
