The Olga Igonkina Foundation awards a scholarship of 2000 euro to a promising student in (astro)particle physics. The scholarship is intended for international travel to a conference, summer school or scientific institute. Interested candidates should send a proposal, a CV and the name of a reference (teacher or supervisor) to OlgaIgonkinaScholarship@nikhef.nl before October 30th 2024.

The proposal should be at most 1000 words, and include a travel plan and budget estimate. Applications will be evaluated by a 3-person jury. The selection criteria are, in order of priority, the excellence and feasibility of the proposal and past academic performance. For more information, contact wouter.hulsbergen@nikhef.nl.

The Olga Igonkina Scholarship exists since 2020. In previous years the grant was awarded to:
